Ekin Akalin is a Turkish-American designer/animator splitting his time between Los Angeles and Berlin. Upon Graduating from Art Center College of Design in 2000 as an Industrial Design major, Ekin began his career in the field of Architecture, before shifting his focus to Motion Graphics.
Since 2002, Ekin has been in demand as a designer, animator and Art Director, working on commercials, music videos, movie trailers, TV show opens and documentary films. His distinctive style is clean, high-end, and dynamic, yet tailored to the overall look of each project.
Ekin Akalin won a Primetime Emmy® Award for his work in Ava DuVernay's Netflix Documentary 13th.
